 一位小公司職員，因臨時加班，回家晚了，妻子已經就寢了。

他在桌上發現一張紙條，上面寫著：飯菜在微波爐裡，啤酒在冰箱，我在床上。

這位丈夫雖然工作一天下來非常累，

 但是看到妻子俏皮的留言,

他的臉上肯定會露出笑意，也被妻子溫馨的話語所打動。

另一位男子計劃在到達某地七小時後，舉行婚禮，

 但他要搭的那班飛機誤點，在候機室他心緒不寧，坐立不安，

 便打電話留言在未婚妻的電話達錄機：

 「飛機誤點，在我到達之前請妳不要結婚。」

 也許，所有的安慰之詞都比不上這樣的幽默。 結婚本是兩個人的事，

 新郎沒有準時到達，新娘肯定也結不成婚，

 而且新郎遲遲未到，會讓新娘焦急不安，

 擔心是不是路上有什麼意外發生。

男子的這句俏皮話，不僅能讓未婚妻靜下心來， 而且會讓她開心一笑。

一位丈夫回家，看見桌上放著一個大蛋糕，便問妻子是何緣故。

 妻子說：「哦 ~ 你忘了嗎? 今天是你的結婚紀念日，我特地為你買的」

 丈夫很感動，對妻子說：「謝謝，等你結婚紀念日到了，我也買個蛋糕，

 好好為你慶祝一番。」

夫妻倆在同一天結婚，結婚紀念日只有一個，又怎麼會分「你的」、「我的」呢？

 顯然，丈夫在這兒運用的是幽默手法，一來為自己的健忘進行掩飾，

 二來也是為逗妻子開心。

畫蛇添足這個成語常常被人用來形容不必要的言行，

通常會招人嘲笑，但把它用在幽默的領域，卻往往會產生幽默的效果。

在夫妻生活中，大多數的夫婦都屬於平凡的小人物，

他們所關心的，無非是自家的衣食溫飽問題。

一般說來，夫妻閒聊，多以生活瑣事為主，大多數是一些沒有事際的廢話，

但借助於這些廢話，可以變廢話為趣話，

讓日常生活更富有情趣。夫妻之間卻能相互溝通。
